Life In The Fast Lane

This summer Isaac discovered the Northbrook Velodrome which is an outdoor track for bicycle racing. We went up a couple of times on Thursday nights to watch races but one Friday night we discovered they let kids race. From the littles on trikes to armature riders. It was so great so one Friday we packed the kids and bike up and Grant was ready to race. The sad part was they lined up his category on the started and then heard thunder! They pulled everyone off and we had to leave. The next Friday we invited the Christensen's and Alex raced with Grant. So here are some photos of Grant's first bike race. He said he was scared of the sloped turns but I think he did great!
