Pee-Wee Sports Camp

For the last three weeks Grant has been attending Pee-wee Sports Camp. He went every weekday morning for a couple hours to run and learn some new games. They had beach days and even had a trip to the bowling alley. Grant loved the coaches and new friends he made there. Alex and Drew were there too which made it extra fun. Grant played T-ball, without the T. They actually pitched it to him and he hit it! They also played "Steal the Bacon" which is very fun to watch. There are 2 sides with the "bacon" in the middle and when your number is called you run as fast as you can to get the bacon. If you don't get it first you try to tag the person who got it. This game turns into tug-of-war as you can imagine. Shelly and I had so much fun watching them. Grant also liked a game called "Ghostbusters" and in this game the kids run from side to side and the coaches try to hit them with a ball, kind of like dodge ball, but when you get hit you sit down where you are and try to touch the other kids running by to tag them out. One of the funny things that happened at this camp was we learned there is another blond Grant in this town! He's in the photo with Grant sitting on Alex & Drew wearing a red shirt and shorts. He's really cute just like my Grant! So it was a great 3 weeks and we thank everyone who made it possible, especially Molly Kelly the director.
