This day started off at the Jr. Ranger Station at Madison Junction to get the kids paperwork to be a Jr. Park Ranger. They have they big packets and there is a lot of work but we wanted to do it all! Then we went to Old Faithful and they have a Jr. Scientist program that we wanted to do as well. This program lent out a back pack with all sorts of materials and instruments to get your booklet done. Our favorite "toy" was a cool thermometer with a laser that you could point at anything, except people, to get a temperature. Grant and Bumpa had lots of fun with that. We had some lunch and did some hiking and then on our way back to West Yellowstone we stopped along the Madison River to fish. The Madison is special because that is were Evelyn go her middle name! Then it was time to head home and relax. I think this was the night Grandma and Bumpa took the kids for the night so I know there was more fun there at the rv!
