Here we are just the other day playing outside. This was our first day of sun and warmer temps and by warmer I mean the 20's. Grant is squinting in this photo because "it's too sunny" can you imagine? Two days before, Grant was on the phone with Bubble and she told him she'll come to visit in the spring and they can do some landscaping. She talked about how Grant can get out his John Deere tractors and dig in the dirt to plant things. Grant was so fired up he wanted to go out as soon as we got home but it was way too cold to be out. It was in the single digits! He was so mad at me but I stuck to my guns. Finally we had this warm day and it had just snowed so it was perfect. Grant brought out his tractors and landscaped in the snow. There were pretty little tractor tracks in the snow that I had to get a photo of. He also went sledding! How, do you ask? He first found a small mound of snow that was just piled up from shoveling our walk. He'd slide about 2 ft and go back "up" again. Then he found a fun way to sled in our bumpy but flat yard. He would place the sled on the snow and then back up and run to it. He'd jump on to the sled making it slide across the yard. I was very proud he figured out how to do this on his own. It was so nice to be outside!!
