Spring Fling

Here are some very blurry and dark photos of Grant's school Spring Fling. Each of the classes sing a few songs that they have learned and then we eat cookies. The significance of this program was Grant was chosen to be Patrick's helper. Patrick is autistic and would not have been able to be up on stage without a helper. Both of Grant's teachers thought he would do a good job and he did. At times it looked like he was wrestling an alligator but Patrick's mom was grateful. Grant is in the yellow plaid shirt and Patrick is on the left in the top photo. I was also proud of Grant because he learned a song in Korean. He has a little girl in his class who is Korean and she taught the class this song. The Horstmann's decided to come and I was glad to have them there. The whole program was fun to watch.
