Christmas morning came bright and early for some of us. Grant was up at 5:30am and therefore I kind of was too. Grant was told the night before that 7am was a nice time to go open presents so he very very patiently waited until then. When the clock turned 7am he was uncontainable! We were all up and they lined up at the top of the stairs youngest to oldest as our tradition goes. They eagerly came downstairs and Grant went right to his Santa stuff. Evy on the other hand took a while and we actually had to push her to it. Silly girl! Needless to say they were happy to get dolls and dresses, Legos and Legos. The afternoon went as followed...Isaac nap, Khania build Playmobil school and then nap, Grant build Legos and Evy put on every dress-up and piece of clothing she got. Then we were off to friends to share dinner with their family. It was amazing! We haven't had a holiday with a Gram in a while and so it was fun to have a real family night. Grant was excited to get home so in the blustery winter storm (that I loved so much!) we all went home, Evy and I to bed and Isaac and Grant to build. What a perfect day and all because a special babe. I am grateful we have this day to spend with our families and our friends families too.
