Yesterday Isaac's mom and I went to a big, old fashioned, fabric store. It was so awesome and overwhelming! We were there for a little over an hour and bought all kinds of things on my list. Anything from fabric, to ribbon, to Fray Check, to patterns. Well, I quickly got started this afternoon when Evelyn took her nap. First thing on my list to make? A duvee (how do you spell that?) cover for Evelyn's baby's bed. She already had a white & plain quilt so I thought I'd make a cover for it. It turned out pretty good as you can see but that rick-rack stuff is hard! I don't think I'll try to work with that again soon. Stay tuned for more sewing projects.
