Evy's Green Thumb

Today we were visiting friends and Evy wanted some of their lilacs. She was given some and carried them all the way home. When we sat down for dinner I noticed she only had a little piece of the much bigger piece and I said "Evelyn were is the rest of your flower?" she said "I plant it in the ground so it can grow." She was so excited and proud. I kind of forgot what she said until I went to water my garden and there it was between two pepper plants. I was very proud of her because it was standing straight up and had no apparent damage. She is so gentle. We'll see what happens to it.
