Deer Lake

No trip to PA is complete without a visit to see PoP in Deer Lake. We first had to go visit the actual Deer Lake. Grant always likes to look for wildlife. He and PoP found some fish and Evy just followed Grant around mimicking what he did. I had Grant help Aunt Sharron and PoP showed him how to whip rope and tie some knots for some Scouting stuff. PoP had two new additions to his home since we visited last. In his dining room on opposite walls were a piano and organ. It was so loud at one point. The kids loved it though. Grant was actually rockin' out on the organ. Luckily we were there on a Thursday which is Deer Lake's "burn day" and Uncle Ned stared a bonfire for the kids. He jokingly claims they have a problem with fire obsession but they really did love putting things into the fire. Again it was a little strange not being there in the summer with all the kids running around and BBQs but we still had a great time!
