At PoP's we have traditions of getting this red Jeep out and going to "the candy store." The red Jeep was purchased for a few dollars at a yard sale by PoP, for Grant about 3 years ago. It was originally using a lawn mower battery but this time PoP put in an old battery from a similar type vehicle. As you can see Grant is getting too big for it but he always asks for it and it now makes a horrible sound when it's struggling-- which is like all the time. Sadly I think this was our last ride. "The Candy Store" is owned by my Uncle Ned. My great grandmother started selling candy in their grocery store and then turned it into a candy store due to the popularity of the candy. The candy is super good and it's always a treat to visit, no pun intended! My children are literally kids in a candy store :)
